Cameron L. Arrington was sentenced to a two year prison term on May 27, 2009.  Arrington had previously entered a plea of guilty to one count of Robbery and one count of Violating a Protection Order, both crimes are felonies of the third degree.

Trent Swith was sentenced to a four year term of incarceration on May 28, 2009, for two counts of Trafficking in Crack Cocaine.    The four years is a mandatory prison term for the second degree felony charge of Trafficking in Crack Cocaine.

Russel A. Skinner has been sentenced to a two year term of incarceration after his recent conviction on one count of Gross Sexual Imposition.    Skinner has been classified as a Tier II sexual offender and will be required to register with the Sheriff of the county in which he will reside after his release from prison.

Nathan A. DeLong entered a plea of “No Contest” to the charge of Ethnic Intimidation, a felony of the fifth degree, on May 18, 2009.   The indictment states that DeLong knowingly caused another to believe he would cause serious physical harm to that person by reason of race, color, religion, or national origin.    The sentencing hearing is scheduled for July 13, 2009.

Dr. Daniel Moshos was found guilty of Public Indeceny,  Attempted Rape and two counts of Gross Sexual Imposition on May 15, 2009, after a four day jury trial.  Moshos is being held without bond in the Clinton County Jail and will be sentenced on June 18, 2009.

Katherine E. Young and Ronald L. Young, Jr. were sentenced on May 7, 2009 to a prison term of 4 years and 9 months each for the following drug charges: Attempted Illegal Assembly or Possession of Chemicals for the Manufacture of Drugs; Attempted Illegal Manufacture of Drugs; and Aggravated Possession of Drugs.

Nickie N. Watson pled guilty on May 6, 2009 to five Counts of Trafficking in Crack Cocaine and three counts of Endangering Children.  Watson will be back in court on June 11, 2009 for a sentencing hearing.

Jeremy Wallace, indicted in January 2009 on various drug charges, was sentenced on May 6, 2009, to eighteen months in prison for Attempted Aggravated Trafficking in Drugs and Attempted Illegal Assembly or Possession of Chemicals for the Manufacture of Drugs.

Tyrone L. Guinn, a resident of Wilmington, Ohio, was sentenced on April 29, 2009 for one count of Robbery. Guinn was sentenced to a one year prison term at the Ohio Department of Rehabiliation and Corrections.

The Clinton County Prosecutor and Assistant Prosecutors attended the Twelfth District Judicial Conference in Mason, Ohio on May 1, 2009. The featured speaker was Nancy H. Rogers, Esq., Professor of Law at the Ohio State University Moritz College of Law. The remainder of the program focused on the annual review of cases decided by the Twelfth District during the past year, preserving and protecting the record on appeal, pending and newly-passed legislation in the Ohio General Assembly.
